Our solid oak and hardwood is made within 200 miles of our Murphy, NC warehouse and distribution center, which keeps our freight costs down. Which Floor Is Right for Your Room?
Product selection starts with the room, the subfloor, and the level of traffic. Then pick the material, style, and texture:

Understand the Grade Before You Order
Grade is the biggest reason two oak floors can differ in cost. Lower grades cost less, but they need more extra quantities to cover cut-offs and boards with a blemish you will set aside:
- 1st Quality: This is the cleanest look. Order about 5–10% extra.
- Builder grade (engineered): It has a few milling or sander marks and roughly 90–95% average yield. Order about 10% extra.
- Cabin grade: Expect more knots, wormholes, and a mix of shorter boards. Order about 10% extra.
- Utility grade: Expect short pieces, splits, and missing tongues. Order at least 20% extra, and tell your installer the grade up front.

We sell, deliver, and offer free pickup for flooring material and supplies. We do not offer installation services, so you can hire contractors and flooring professionals or do it yourself. Below is a sample estimate for a 1,000 sq ft flooring project. It uses current prices from our inventory plus typical national installation labor ranges. Labor varies a lot by market, by subfloor conditions, and by how much old flooring needs to come out, so get at least two local quotes.

Shipping, Pickup, Returns & Warranties
Shipping Costs and Delivery Times
Flooring ships nationwide across the United States on pallets by freight truck. Your freight cost is quoted when you place your order and depends on your ZIP code, how many pallets you need, and where it is delivered. You have three delivery options: a business with a loading dock or forklift (usually the lowest cost), a carrier terminal near you where you pick it up, or a residential delivery with a lift gate to your door. Once your order ships, we email you tracking and a bill of lading. Delivery dates are estimates, and freight does not move on weekends or holidays, so please don't schedule your installer until the flooring arrives. Read our full freight guide.
Free Customer Pickup
Pickup is always free. Order by phone and pick up your flooring at our warehouse store at 3955 E U.S. Highway 64 Alt, Suite B, Murphy, NC 28906 to skip freight costs entirely. Call ahead so our staff can have your order ready.
Inspect Before You Sign
Check every pallet before the driver leaves. Write any damage or missing boxes on the delivery receipt, and take photos. Report hidden damage to the carrier within 15 calendar days of delivery.
Returns
We will buy back all unopened boxes of flooring that you request to return within 30 days of delivery and refund your purchase. Opened boxes are subject to a restocking fee. Contact our customer support team for a return authorization before you ship anything back. If we ship the wrong product, or it arrives defective or damaged, we provide prepaid return shipping. For other returns, you pay return freight. Installed floors cannot be returned, so open a few boxes and check the flooring before you install it. See our return policy for full terms.
Warranties
Our 1st Quality wood flooring products carry the original manufacturer's warranty, and we handle warranty claims for you. Off-grade products (Cabin, Builder, Seconds, Utility) and mill-run test lots are sold as-is, without a manufacturer's warranty. That is one of the main reasons they cost so much less. If a product's warranty matters for your project, ask us before you order.
